Medicinal use of Mian Shen:

The entire plant is used in Tibetan medicine, it is said to have a sweet taste and a cooling potency. Anti-inflammatory and febrifuge, it dries up pus and joins cut nerves/vessels. It is used in the treatment of inflammation of the lungs, pus in the lungs, inflammations of wounds/sores and cut nerves/blood vessels.
